A total of 6 movies for 2 days are allowed. Maximum of 4 DVDs at a time.
(4 DVDs and 2 VHS, 3 DVDs and 3 VHS, 2 DVD and 4 VHS, or 0 DVDs and 6 VHS)
PARENTS: If you do not want your child to charge "R" rated movies, please tell the staff and we will add a note to the child's library card stating "No check out of R rated movies by parents request". The staff cannot censor what your child reads or watches.
LIBRARY CARDS: Patrons must present their Library Card when checking out materials. Cards must be clear of fines and up-to-date.
REGISTRATION FOR LIBRARY CARD

Parents: When registering your child for a library card, you give your child access to all materials in the library uncensored by the library staff. If you wish your child to be censored, it is the parents responsibility to do so and notify the staff of their wishes. At that time a note will be attached to the child's library card expressing the parents wishes. For more information see the Freedom To View Policy.
Note: Library cards will expire one year from date issued. Upon expiration, staff will update information and change expiration date.
RENEWALS: May be renewed once for original circulation period if there are no holds on that item. Renewals may also be made by phone: 598-7938. If renewing by phone please have your patron barcode number and the barcode of item. An item may be renewed only one time.
HOLDS: Requested items are held at library for customer pick up for maximum of 5 days, high demand items are held for a maximum of 2 days. Unfilled holds are dropped after one year from date of request.
HIGH DEMAND ITEMS: Those items having three or more holds.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN: A service available for obtaining items not in our collection.
PURPOSE: Purpose of Pioneerland Library System overdue and fine policy is to impose a service charge for library expenditures incurred in recovering overdue items.
CHARGES: 1st Notice: will be $ .10 per day, per item
2nd Notice: will include an additional $ .10 (per day, per item), fines accrued, replacement cost of the item(s) and $8.00 processing fee for each item.MOVIE FINES: $1 per day, per movie if the movie is not returned by 4:30 on date due. Fines will include Sundays and Holidays if the movie was due on the day before the Sunday or Holiday.
LOST OR DAMAGED: Customer will be charged standard cost plus service charge for each item.
